The Michigan
Gaming Expo
2025 was the 12th annual “Michigan GT”, bringing tabletop game players from around the Great Lakes region together for a weekend of entertainment and competition unrivaled by any event in the state of Michigan. The Michigan GT was named “The Michigan Grand Tournament” until the name change in late 2025 to “The Michigan Gaming Expo”.
The first Michigan GT was held in 2013 and has been an annual event (sans Covid 2020). The 2025 event welcomed over 1,400 visitors and held our first expanded vendor hall we’ve dubbed “The Troll Market”.
To all of the participants of the Michigan GTs from 2013 to 2025, thank you for gaming with us. Your support of this event and the hobby throughout the years has been a joy to experience. The Michigan GT transitioned to new ownership in 2025 and appreciated all the feedback we received about the event. We learned much about the GT and the needs of the community during this transitional year and will be applying feedback at future events. The Game Expo will look different in the future as it grows and expands to include other gaming systems.
If you are interested in the October 2026 Expo, we will be posting updates on our social media platforms. If you have a specific question, please contact us through the email below.
The goal of Michigan Gaming Expo is to bring hobbyists together from around the region to promote the growth of the tabletop gaming community in the Midwest.
